The Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO)

The Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO) is the 10th largest art museum in North America. Its collection includes more than 68,000 works from the 1st century to the present-day. It includes the world's largest collection of Canadian art. The AGO has existed for over 100 years and has gone through a major renovation by architect Frank Gehry. The Art Gallery of Ontario’s Gallery School offers art education courses and workshops for all ages.

The Royal Ontario Museum (ROM)

The Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) called "ROM" by the locals, the wonderful Royal Ontario Museum is the largest in Canada, with a permanent collection of more than six million objects. Recently modernized and expanded, the museum has a new crystal expansion that was recently finished in 2007. Some of the Museum's highlights include the Egyptian sarcophagus of the Djedmaatesankh mummy which dates back to around 850 BC, and a model of the Allosaur Dinosaurs. It is a great place for the education of everyone.

CN Tower

The CN Tower is not the tallest building in the world anymore, but it still attracts millions of tourists every year. It is 1,815 feet tall, which gives you a bird’s eye view of this beautiful city. A glass elevator takes you up to the observation deck in less than 20 seconds, where you can take in the view and eat at the 360 degrees rotating restaurant. Toronto Central Island

Toronto Central Island is a great place to go in the summer because of its sunny beaches and amusement park. It is a small island that is a 10 minute ferry ride away from downtown Toronto. It is one of a series of small islands that contain the largest car-free community in North America. Centerville is a small amusement park, and can be enjoyed for people of all ages.

Air Canada Center

Toronto's newest sports and entertainment complex, the Air Canada Center is another sports venue which houses the Toronto Raptors and the Maple leaves. It houses 20 000 people, and has comfortable seats. It is located right at the heart of downtown, which makes it an ideal place for some family bonding!

Rogers Center

The Rogers Center is a sports stadium which is right beside the C.N. tower. You can watch baseball games, football games and concerts. It covers 12.7 h. of land and has the world’s first fully retractable roof. It houses more than 50 000 people! You can enjoy a Blue Jays game with your family, and if you happen to go to the CN Tower when the roof is open, you can witness the game.

The Eaton Center

The Eaton Center is one of Toronto’s top tourist locations. It has over 250 stores, 4 stories and an airy atmosphere. There are glass ceilings and a huge food court. One of Canada’s most famous artists, Michael Snow made a flock of geese that hangs from the ceiling. It is a great mall for a family shopping spree!
